1. Separate Training Waiver

These terms govern course administration, participant conduct, equipment, attendance, payments, cancellations, and related operational requirements. When applicable, participation also requires acceptance of Corsair’s separate Training Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability. The agreements are separate and should be read together.

2. Voluntary Participation and Prerequisites

You are responsible for reviewing and satisfying published prerequisites, age requirements, identification requirements, licensing or eligibility requirements, equipment requirements, and experience level before attending. Corsair may require identification or documentation reasonably necessary to confirm identity, eligibility, enrollment, or completion requirements.

3. Medical Fitness

Participants must be physically and mentally capable of participating safely and should disclose before training any medical condition, injury, medication, disability, pregnancy, fatigue, or limitation that could affect safe participation.

4. Safety and Instructor Authority

Participants must follow every instructor command, range rule, facility policy, and safety procedure. Corsair may stop an exercise, inspect or remove equipment from service, modify an activity for safety, suspend participation, or remove a participant whenever an instructor reasonably believes a safety concern exists.

5. Firearms and Equipment

Participant-provided firearms, ammunition, holsters, protective equipment, and other gear must be lawful, serviceable, compatible, and appropriate. Firearms must remain in the condition and location directed by the instructor until authorized otherwise. Required eye, ear, and other protective equipment must be used.

6. Prohibited Conduct and Impairment

Alcohol, illegal drugs, and any substance, medication, illness, fatigue, or condition that materially impairs judgment, coordination, reaction time, or safe participation are prohibited. Harassment, threats, fighting, intentional safety violations, unauthorized firearm handling, criminal activity, and deliberate interference with instruction are prohibited.

7. Legal Eligibility

Participants certify that they are legally permitted to possess and handle any firearm or regulated equipment they use during training and remain responsible for laws governing possession, transportation, storage, and use. Corsair instruction is educational and is not individualized legal advice.

8. Arrival, Attendance, Testing, and Completion

Participants must arrive by the published check-in time with required identification, equipment, documentation, and protective gear. Certificates or completion documents are issued only when applicable attendance, safety, testing, proficiency, documentation, conduct, eligibility, and payment requirements are satisfied.

9. No Guarantee

Completion does not guarantee issuance or renewal of a license, commission, certification, permit, government approval, employment, assignment, or continued employment.

10. Payments, Cancellations, Transfers, and No-Shows

Unless a course listing or written agreement states otherwise, participant-paid course fees are nonrefundable; one transfer may be requested with at least 48 hours’ notice and is subject to availability and prerequisites. No-shows and late cancellations forfeit course fees. Removal for misconduct, impairment, dishonesty, or safety violations does not create a refund right. If Corsair cancels and cannot reasonably provide the purchased training as scheduled, Corsair may offer rescheduling, transfer, course credit, or a refund consistent with the published policy and applicable law.

11. Weather and Rescheduling

Corsair may delay, relocate, modify, reschedule, or cancel training because of severe weather, unsafe facility conditions, instructor unavailability, equipment failure, governmental action, emergency, or other circumstances reasonably outside Corsair’s control.

12. Responsibility After Training

Training does not replace sound judgment, legal advice, medical advice, agency policy, employer requirements, or continued practice. Participants remain responsible for their decisions and actions during and after a course.

13. Personal Property and Damage

Participants are responsible for securing firearms, ammunition, equipment, vehicles, and personal property and for damage caused by intentional misconduct, negligence, unauthorized use, or misuse, subject to applicable law.

14. Course Materials

Unless expressly authorized, Corsair proprietary manuals, presentations, lesson plans, videos, graphics, assessments, handouts, and exercises are for the enrolled participant’s personal educational use and may not be sold, published, distributed, livestreamed, or commercially exploited.

15. Recording and Media

Promotional use of a participant’s likeness is governed by a separate optional Media Authorization. Corsair may restrict participant photography, audio, video, livestreaming, or publication to protect safety, privacy, confidential information, proprietary materials, facility rules, or other participants.

16. Communications and Accommodations

Participants must provide accurate contact information and review course communications. A participant needing a reasonable accommodation should contact Corsair as early as practicable so the request can be evaluated consistent with applicable law, safety requirements, facility limitations, and essential course standards.

17. Governing Law and Electronic Acceptance

These terms are governed by Texas law, with disputes brought in a court of proper jurisdiction in Denton County unless applicable law requires otherwise. Electronic acceptance may be retained with document version, course information, date/time, signature or acknowledgement data, and reasonable audit information.

Participant Acknowledgment

By electronically accepting or signing these terms, the participant confirms that the information provided is accurate, the terms have been read and understood, a separate waiver may also be required, questions could be asked, and applicable training requirements will be followed.
