About This Course
Uncontrolled bleeding can cause death in as little as five minutes. Stop the Bleed training teaches participants how to take immediate action during a traumatic injury event until professional medical care arrives. Training includes identifying life-threatening bleeding, wound packing techniques, direct pressure application, tourniquet selection and proper application, improvised bleeding control methods, casualty assessment, trauma kit familiarization, and active threat and mass casualty response considerations. Our instructors bring real-world experience from military, security, emergency response, and protective services environments. We focus on practical skills, situational awareness, and confidence-building to ensure participants can perform effectively under stress.
